  • Hyperliquid disclosed $429 million in revenue for 2026 so far
  • HYPE, the exchange’s native token, hit a fresh all-time high near $95
  • Monthly active addresses on the platform also set a new record

Hyperliquid, the decentralized perpetuals exchange, disclosed $429 million in revenue for 2026 so far this week, a figure that landed alongside its HYPE token hitting a fresh all-time high near $95 and monthly active addresses on the platform reaching a new record.

The revenue figure matters to HYPE’s price more directly than it would for a typical exchange token, because a portion of Hyperliquid’s trading revenue is used to buy back and burn HYPE tokens from the open market, reducing the circulating supply over time. That structure ties the token’s value to the exchange’s actual business performance in a way that is checkable independent of the company’s own reporting, since on-chain analytics platforms including DefiLlama track protocol revenue and trading volume across decentralized exchanges using public blockchain data rather than self-reported figures alone.

Hyperliquid has built its position over roughly two years as one of the largest decentralized perpetuals exchanges by trading volume, competing against both centralized platforms and other on-chain derivatives venues. The exchange runs its own purpose-built blockchain rather than operating as an application layered on top of an existing chain, an architecture choice that has let it offer faster execution and lower fees than most on-chain competitors.

The record in monthly active addresses is a separate signal from the revenue figure, since it measures how many distinct wallets are actually using the platform rather than how much money is flowing through it. A high-revenue period driven by a small number of large traders would show strong revenue without necessarily showing address growth, so the two figures rising together points to both deeper usage and higher-value activity happening at the same time, rather than one being propped up without the other.

HYPE’s climb to a fresh high extends a run that has already pushed the token into the upper tier of cryptocurrencies by market capitalization since its 2024 launch. Whether the token holds near these levels will likely depend on whether Hyperliquid’s trading volume, and the buyback activity it funds, continues at a similar pace in the months ahead rather than this week’s disclosure on its own.

Voluntarily disclosing a revenue figure at all sets Hyperliquid apart from most decentralized protocols, which typically let observers infer financial performance from on-chain fee data rather than publishing a headline number themselves. That disclosure is not the same as an audited financial statement, since it comes directly from the exchange rather than through the kind of third-party review a public company’s filings would carry, so the figure is best treated as a company-reported number that outside data trackers can partially corroborate rather than a fully independently verified one.
