  • A proposal from contributor Entropy would add 100 million ARB from ArbitrumDAO’s treasury to its DRIP growth budget specifically to grow adoption of the USDG stablecoin on Arbitrum
  • The proposal would also route a share of Arbitrum’s own protocol fees, after a 20% allocation to the Arbitrum Developer Guild, toward converting into USDG through the DAO’s treasury management committee
  • Voting on the on-chain proposal, flagged on Arbitrum’s governance forum on November 2, 2026, runs through November 13

Arbitrum’s governance forum listed a proposal titled “Adopting USDG as a Core Strategic Initiative for the ArbitrumDAO” among its active on-chain votes in a roundup posted November 2, 2026. The proposal, put forward by contributor Entropy, aims to formalize a coordinated push across what the forum calls Arbitrum Aligned Entities to grow adoption of USDG, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, specifically on the Arbitrum network.

At the center of the proposal is a budget change: it would add 100 million ARB from ArbitrumDAO’s treasury into the DAO’s existing DRIP budget, a program the forum describes as geared toward growth initiatives. Alongside the new funding, the proposal would adjust the structure of DRIP’s current season, broaden the range of activities it is permitted to support, and extend its overall timeline, giving the initiative more runway to work with than the program’s original scope allowed.

The proposal also touches how Arbitrum’s own protocol revenue is handled going forward. It would route AEP fees, the network’s own protocol-level fee revenue, net of the 20% share already allocated to the Arbitrum Developer Guild, into what the forum calls the TM Portfolio, with Arbitrum’s treasury management committee then responsible for converting those fees into USDG. The proposal frames this as a way for the DAO to become an economic steward of the stablecoin on its own network, rather than simply hosting USDG as one stablecoin among many without capturing any of the associated value.

Beyond the funding and fee-routing mechanics, the proposal would let the treasury management committee deploy DAO assets in support of USDG growth under the oversight structures already established for that committee’s work, and it confirms the initiative as a formally recognized special project within contributor Entropy’s broader multi-year scope of work for the DAO.

Voting on the proposal runs through November 13, 2026, giving ArbitrumDAO token holders roughly a week and a half from the forum roundup’s publication date to weigh in before the vote concludes. The full roundup of active votes is posted on Arbitrum’s own governance forum.
