  • Bitwise’s US crypto ETPs took in roughly $100 million on Thursday, Aug. 27, according to CEO Hunter Horsley.
  • The firm’s Solana staking fund, BSOL, accounted for about $40 million of that, more than the other four funds on the list combined.
  • BSOL has captured close to 80% of all money entering US spot Solana ETFs since its October launch, a share that has held for weeks.

Around $100,000,000 into Bitwise ETPs in the US today.

Top 5:
1. Solana: ~$40,000,000
2. Bitcoin: ~$22,000,000
3. Hyperliquid: ~$20,000,000
4. XRP: ~$12,000,000
5. Ethereum: ~$1,400,000

Bitwise pulled in about $100 million across its US exchange traded products on Thursday, and $40 million of it went into one fund: BSOL, the firm’s Solana staking ETF. Bitwise co-founder and CEO Hunter Horsley posted the breakdown on X early Friday morning, crediting Solana with the top spot ahead of Bitcoin, Hyperliquid, XRP and Ethereum.

Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan says crypto is underpriced as token buybacks and burns reshape valuations. Bitwise also offers exposure to several tokens he highlights.

Thursday’s Fund-by-Fund Breakdown

Bitwise’s BSOL ETF draws $40 million in inflows

Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) recorded about $40 million in net inflows on Thursday. The Bitcoin ETF (BITB) followed with about $22 million, while the Hyperliquid ETF (BHYP) attracted $20 million, the XRP ETF (XRP) took in $12 million, and the Ethereum ETF (ETHW) added $1.4 million. Solana’s fund alone attracted more money than the other four combined, accounting for a large share of Bitwise’s total inflows for the day.

Why BSOL Keeps Winning the Category

The size of that gap matters more than the day’s total. Solana ETF trackers, and the SoSoValue flow dashboard Horsley’s numbers line up with, have shown BSOL capturing roughly 78% to 81% of every dollar entering the US spot Solana ETF category through most of August, well ahead of rivals from Fidelity and Grayscale.

That dominance traces to a specific product feature: BSOL stakes its underlying SOL and passes the yield, around 5.81% net, back to holders. Thursday’s number was not an isolated spike. It was another data point in a pattern that has now held for weeks.

The Pecking Order Flip

That pattern also flips the usual pecking order. Ethereum, the second-largest crypto asset by market value, drew barely more than a million dollars into Bitwise’s ETF the same day Solana pulled in forty times as much.

Bitcoin, the category’s traditional leader, placed second behind Solana rather than first. Read alongside the wider rotation other trackers have flagged this week toward Solana, XRP and Hyperliquid, Thursday’s list reads less like a one-off good day for Solana and more like continued evidence that a staking-enabled structure is what’s actually pulling money in.

Bitwise’s Solana fund had accumulated close to $1 billion of its own inflows by Thursday, within a broader Solana ETF category that had already crossed $1.22 billion in cumulative net inflows days earlier.
