Ethereum Foundation Announces ETH Conversion: The Ethereum Foundation has announced that it will convert 5000 ETH into stablecoins. The transaction is scheduled to take place using CoWSwap’s TWAP (Time-Weighted Average Price) feature. This move forms part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to manage funding for its core activities.

Use of CoWSwap TWAP for Execution: The conversion will be carried out through CoWSwap, utilizing its TWAP feature. This method allows the transaction to be executed over a period of time rather than in a single trade. The approach is being used specifically for this ETH-to-stablecoin conversion.

Funding Allocation Purpose: The Ethereum Foundation stated that the proceeds from this conversion will be used to support research and development, grants, and donations. This initiative is part of the organization’s continued work to fund ecosystem growth and related activities. Recently, the Ethereum Foundation recorded a significant staking event, adding 45,034 ETH valued at approximately $93.11 million. The transaction took place on April 3, 2026, marking a notable movement of ETH into staking.
