MEXICO CITY – October 21st, 2025 – Bitso Business, the B2B arm of Bitso that provides infrastructure for efficient and transparent local and cross-border payments, today officially announced the dates and expansion for the Stablecoin Conference LatAm, following the overwhelming success of its inaugural 2025 event. The second edition of Latin America’s leading stablecoin conference is scheduled to take place on June 15th to 16th, 2026, at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
Following its highly successful debut—which drew over 1,800 attendees from all continents—the conference will return on an even larger scale during the global soccer championship season, giving visitors another reason to experience Mexico City. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to support their national teams but also engage with the world’s foremost experts, including regulators, entrepreneurs, developers, and business leaders shaping the future of global money and payments.
Stablecoins Continue to Gain Momentum in Latin America
The Stablecoin Conference gathers global experts to explore how stablecoins are transforming payments and unlocking new opportunities across Latin America.
A recent report titled Stablecoin Landscape in Latin America, conducted by Bitso Business using data from more than 1,300 institutional clients, revealed exponential growth in business adoption of stablecoins. The analysis showed that stablecoins more than doubled their share of total transaction volume processed by Bitso Business during the first half of 2025. Businesses are increasingly integrating stablecoins into treasury management, foreign exchange operations, and payment systems, reinforcing their role as a trusted tool for cross-border finance.
Building on a Monumental Debut
The Stablecoin Conference LatAm quickly established itself as the region’s premier event dedicated entirely to stablecoins, an asset class that has surpassed $300 billion in global market capitalization.
The 2025 edition welcomed more than 1,800 participants from 43 countries, representing over 800 companies. Sponsors included major industry names such as Visa, PayPal, Tether, Circle, Fireblocks, Solana, Ripple, Bridge, and Worldpay.
“The incredible turnout and impact of our first conference proved that the market was hungry for this discussion,” said Imran Ahmad, General Manager of Bitso Business. “It was an honor to host the industry’s top names this year, and the feedback we received on the conference’s value was unanimous. For 2026, we are committed to providing an even more impactful and relevant experience, cementing Latin America’s role as a powerhouse for financial innovation.”
Expanded Scale for a Growing Industry
To meet rising demand, the 2026 edition will feature an expanded venue designed to host more than 2,500 attendees.
The event will include several dedicated experiences, including the Main Stage featuring high-level discussions with global regulators and industry leaders, a Startup Village dedicated to hands-on demos, workshops, and networking opportunities with emerging stablecoin innovators, and an Expo and Networking Area designed to maximize business interactions and strategic partnerships.
“This pivotal moment for the industry, where stablecoins are solidifying their role as a catalyst for financial transformation across Latin America, perfectly coincides with Bitso’s own new era,” said Daniel Vogel, CEO and Co-founder of Bitso. “Our experience as the undisputed crypto leader in Mexico has led us to evolve into a comprehensive investment platform and a robust payment infrastructure. Our 11+ year journey, serving over 9 million users and 1,900 institutional clients, has always been about building the future of finance, especially for a region that needs it most.
The Stablecoin Conference is a vital extension of that mission. It puts Latin America at the center of the global conversation on money, demonstrating how innovation originating here is transforming finance and payments worldwide.”
