- Binance Futures launched four new USDT-margined perpetual contracts on October 12, 2026, tracking the Zcash ETF Shares, the T-Rex 2X Long MSTR Daily Target ETF, Synopsys stock and Redwire stock
- Each contract offers up to 20x leverage, a capped funding rate of plus or minus 2.00%, and 24/7 trading despite tracking assets that only trade during US market hours
- Binance stated the contracts settle in USDT and are exempt from its usual rule that shifts funding intervals from every eight hours to every hour once the funding cap is reached
Binance rolled out four new synthetic perpetual contracts on October 12, 2026, giving crypto traders exposure to a slice of traditional finance without requiring a brokerage account or the underlying securities themselves. The contracts, ZCSHUSDT, MSTUUSDT, SNPSUSDT and RDWUSDT, launched in sequence starting at 09:00 UTC, with each new pair going live five minutes after the previous one, according to Binance’s own announcement.
ZCSHUSDT tracks the Zcash ETF Shares listed on NYSE Arca under the ticker ZCSH, giving traders synthetic exposure to the privacy coin through a regulated fund wrapper rather than the token itself. MSTUUSDT tracks the T-Rex 2X Long MSTR Daily Target ETF, listed on Cboe BZX as MSTU, which already applies two times daily leverage to Michael Saylor’s Strategy stock before Binance’s own leverage is layered on top. SNPSUSDT and RDWUSDT track the common stock of Synopsys, the chip-design software company listed on Nasdaq as SNPS, and Redwire Corporation, the space infrastructure company listed on the NYSE as RDW, marking a notable expansion of Binance’s TradFi perpetual lineup beyond crypto-adjacent names into mainstream technology and aerospace equities.
All four contracts share identical specifications: a 0.01 tick size, a minimum trade size of 0.01 of the underlying asset, a minimum notional value of 5 USDT, maximum leverage of 20x, and a funding rate capped at plus or minus 2.00% settled every eight hours. Binance noted that these particular contracts are exempt from its standard rule that shortens funding intervals from every eight hours down to every hour whenever the funding rate hits its cap or floor, a mechanism normally designed to keep perpetual prices from drifting too far from the underlying asset during periods of extreme demand imbalance.
Because the underlying stocks and ETFs only trade during US market hours, while Binance’s perpetual contracts run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the contracts effectively let traders take positions on these equities outside the windows when the actual shares can be bought or sold. Binance’s notice flagged this structure explicitly in its risk disclosures, warning that digital asset prices are volatile, that futures trading carries elevated market risk, and that a trader’s full margin balance can be liquidated following adverse price moves, language it applies uniformly across its derivatives offerings.
The announcement, published on Binance’s official support and announcement center, also reserved the exchange’s right to amend or cancel the listing at any time without prior notice, and noted that products may not be available to users in every jurisdiction, including certain restrictions tied to unauthorized stablecoins for users in the European Economic Area under the bloc’s Markets in Crypto-Assets framework.
