  • US spot Ethereum ETFs recorded a combined net inflow of $2.5 million on the most recent trading day tracked
  • Grayscale’s standard ETHE fund gained $4.3 million in inflows while its Mini ETH product saw a $4.1 million outflow on the same day
  • Microsoft’s MSSE fund added $1.4 million and Invesco’s QETH added $0.9 million, while Bitwise’s ETHW fund was flat

US spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded a combined net inflow of $2.5 million, according to daily flow data tracked by Farside Investors, a modest but positive figure that masked a notable split between individual issuers on the same trading day. Grayscale’s original ETHE product, the higher-fee legacy fund converted from its earlier trust structure, gained $4.3 million in inflows, while Grayscale’s own lower-fee Mini ETH product moved in the opposite direction, losing $4.1 million to outflows.

That divergence within a single issuer’s product lineup illustrates a pattern that has persisted since Grayscale launched its Mini ETH fund as a cheaper alternative to the original ETHE product: some investors continue holding or adding to the legacy fund even as others migrate toward the lower-cost option, producing offsetting flows that can leave Grayscale’s combined Ethereum ETF footprint roughly flat even when the two funds individually see meaningful daily movement.

Beyond Grayscale, Microsoft’s MSSE fund added $1.4 million in net inflows and Invesco’s QETH fund added $0.9 million, both modest gains that nonetheless kept the day’s overall total positive. Bitwise’s ETHW fund recorded no net flow for the day, and several other funds tracked in the data showed no trading activity at all, reflected as blank entries rather than zero-flow figures in the underlying dataset.

The $2.5 million net figure sits well below the multi-hundred-million-dollar single-day flows Ethereum ETFs have posted during periods of stronger institutional demand earlier in 2026, suggesting a relatively quiet trading day for the product category overall rather than a signal of a major shift in sentiment. Daily ETF flow data of this kind is watched closely as a proxy for institutional appetite for direct Ethereum exposure through regulated fund structures, distinct from spot trading volume on cryptocurrency exchanges themselves.

Because flow data is published daily and each day’s figures reflect only that day’s activity, a single modest inflow like this one is best read in the context of the broader trend across the trailing days and weeks rather than as a standalone data point. The split between Grayscale’s two products in particular highlights how fee structure and legacy fund status can produce offsetting flows even during periods when the asset class overall is seeing net positive institutional interest.
